| Course Description | After completion of the required 60 credits during the first two years in the program, MFA students in the Writing Program must register for Research Arts to maintain continuous full-time enrollment. During this time, students are expected to spend at least 36 hours each week (equivalent to 12 semester credit hours) in independent research and study. As part of Research Arts, students may attend group critiques, master classes/workshops, and/or be engaged in individual and/or group projects, productions, as well as other co-curricular instructional activities, as stipulated by their program.
